Sun Damage

New Zealand has an extremely strong sun and even as we do our best to protect ourselves there are times where we are exposed and our skin is damaged causing brown spots or 'freckles'.  If left untreated up to 10% of sun damage will turn into Solar Keratosis which left untreated can turn in to cancerous basal cell carcinoma.

UVB rays are the primary cause of sun damage, because they penetrate into the outer layer of skin and cause damage to skin cells.
